Welcome - Your Turn 1-6-16

Today, for the first time since World War II, there are more than 50 million refugees in the world. Immigration enforcement policies have forcibly separated families, and refugees flee war and violence in Syria in overwhelming numbers.

Join Gloria Dei in celebrating Refugee Sunday on January 10, 2016.

Special texts for the day:
Leviticus 19:33-34
Romans 12:9-21
Matthew 10:40-42

How can we best "welcome the stranger"?

How is fear a positive factor in our own lives and in the life of our nation? How is fear a negative factor in our own lives and in the life of our nation?

How do we balance “law and order” with justice?

During my medical leave this January, I will post the assigned texts for Sunday. You are invited to read the texts and reflect on them. You can share comments in the section below.
