Read Mark 14:3-11
These verses tell two different stories of discipleship. The whole Gospel of Mark shows the difficult time Jesus’ disciples had grasping what Jesus said and did, let alone the meaning of who he was. We too are often just as slow to understand as those followers of Jesus.
