Lutheran World Relief’s response to the Nepal earthquake now stands at more than $1 million.
This includes LWR's initial commitment of $500,000, along with support from the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. We've sent 9,240 Quilts, 1,000 Personal Care Kits and 100 water filtration units. Now we are working with partners and other international relief organizations on an early recovery response.
