When did you know?

At a very young age I learned a great many things….. Stop, Go, Don’t Touch!, Excuse Me, etc.
My parents felt a healthy church life was very important and I learned
about Jesus and his unending love. However,
I never felt a strong connection to Jesus or God. I was baptized, confirmed,
sang in church choir and even taught vacation bible school but not until a
family vacation brought me to the mountains did I understand my faith, my
relationship with God and the enormity of his grace.
Have you ever felt small?
One spring morning, as I got off the chair lift in Big Sky, Montana, I
suddenly felt small and yet lifted up. I
had to catch my breath…. the beauty of the mountains and the intense feeling of
not being alone in this world overwhelmed me and filled me.
I finally understood!
I finally knew…
