Little Free Library & Little Free Pantry!


 We’ve installed a little free library and little free pantry on the front lawn and are now accepting donations:

 For the Pantry, Food & Drink Items should be:
 1. Able to be easily opened without mechanical devise
2. Able to be eaten straight away or by adding hot water
3. Non-perishable or shelf life longer than six months
4. Commercially produced and packaged
5. Individual/single serving sized 

Do Not Bring:
* Used/open goods
* Expired food
* Rusty canned foods
* Canned meat
* Canned veggies without pop top
* Food prepared in home
* Food out of original packaging or
      without labels
* Items stored in glass
* Harsh chemicals (i.e. bleach, 
* household cleaning supplies)

Examples: 
* Juice Boxes, Capri Suns, Bottled Water
* Granola Bars
* Raisins
* Peanut Butter or Cheese Crackers
* Jerky
* Trail Mix
* Fruit or Pudding Cups
* Cup-A-Noodles
* Instant Soups/Ramen Noodles

* Instant Mac & Cheese

We are also accepting personal care, household, and baby care items: 
* Toothbrushes
* Travel size: Toothpaste, shampoo, soap 
* Deodorant
* Feminine hygiene products
* Toilet paper
* Band-Aids
* Socks
* Gloves
* Dish soap
* Hand soap
* Diapers
* Wipes
* Diaper cream

You’re encouraged to use the little free library---feel free to take a book that piques your interest; if you have a book that you have finished and think others might enjoy, consider placing it in the library.
