Same (pronounced “SAH-may”) is in the Pare Diocese of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tanzania which is the companion synod of our Southeastern Iowa Synod.
Established in the year 2017, The congregation operates a kindergarten/preschool which is planning on upgrading to a primary English school.
With two Pastors, one Evangelist and one Parish worker, Same has 529 members and 105 youth between 12 and 18.
