Dear Members and Friends of Gloria Dei,
Due to the ice storm moving into the area, we are cancelling in-person Ash Wednesday worship services. Here are two other options available to you:
This evening at 6:30 I will lead an online Ash Wednesday vespers service from my home. You can join that via this link: https://www.youtube.com/c/gatheredbygrace. If you have communion elements available you are welcome to have those ready as well.
A second option is to accept the invitation from Pastor Sarah and the Lutheran Campus Ministry community to join them in-person in Gloria Dei’s sanctuary for their “Ash Thursday” service tomorrow evening at 6:30 p.m. I am so grateful that that option is available to us. I hope a number of you are will be able join me in worshiping with our dear LCM friends.
A final note regarding communications from Gloria Dei in situations like these: if you would like to receive text messages in addition to emails but have not yet signed up for “Flock Note” notifications, please email your mobile # to church@gatheredbygrace.org and we will set you up.
