Welcome

Gathered by grace and recognizing our unity in Christ, we welcome to full participation in our community of faith all who are seeking God’s love and grace. We welcome all because God created and welcomes all, regardless of race, economic status, sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression.

We are a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, located in the Southeastern Iowa Synod , sitting on the eastern edge of the UI campus on the corner of Market and Dubuque Streets in Iowa City, IA. We are also a Reconciling In Christ congregation.  This means we publicly welcome, celebrate and include Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, and asexual people collectively.
